We were all cracking up that we were eating this beautiful homemade cake, for no reason. I ended up making it over the weekend on a day we were barbecuing. I was excited to find that I was only missing a few ingredients that the recipe called for. I was so excited to see that the recipe was provided at the end of the book! If I were reading a paperback, I probably would have noticed all along that the recipe was there. There were a few times that the smell and appearances of it were described, which seriously left my mouth watering with a serious craving for coconut. My profile shows that I like foodie books and romance, so The Coincidence of Coconut Cake was spot on! The book had me wondering what this coconut cake looked and tasted like.
